Herdwick Cottage was the original Granary when the farm was built in the 17th Century. More recently it has been converted into the cosiest of our four cottages.
This consists of a double room with an adjoining bathroom that has a bath and overhead electric shower.
Here you can relax in the lounge area, or prepare your meals in the kitchen diner with its adjacent breakfast bar.
"Very enjoyable stay. Spent most days exploring the Lakes. Weather was good - 'no rain !' Found the cottage very comfortable - especially the bed. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Leaving completely relaxed."
